Shipping and Returns

PROCESSING & DELIVERY TIME

If you are having a sewing emergency and need your order ASAP, please contact us and we will do our best to expedite your delivery. (Because seriously, sewing emergencies DO happen from time to time. We totally get that!) 

Please allow 3 working days for order processing. We will endeavour to ship the business day after your order is received, but this may vary at times of high order volume.

There may be times deliveries are delayed for reasons out of our control. In these instances, SewSquirrel will keep you up to date with the status of your order, and ship as soon as possible.

Items are shipped from Melbourne, Australia using a courier service and Australia Post. If your order is sent via courier, you will be sent an email with the estimated delivery date. Australia Post delivery times can be determined using the Delivery Time Calculator, and tracked via the number received with your order confirmation.

We ship Monday-Friday. Orders will not be processed on weekends or Victorian public holidays

All care is taken to ship items in a timely manner. SewSquirrel is not responsible for transit times once parcel has been shipped. 

SHIPPING WITHIN AUSTRALIA AND NEW ZEALAND

Shipping within Australia and New Zealand is now a flat rate of $10

We ship worldwide using Australia Post and courier services. Size restrictions may apply.

All couriered parcels are shipped with an Authority to Leave at your premises if no one is home. If you are not home at the time of delivery, your parcel will be left with all care taken and no responsibility or liability accepted.

If you DO NOT wish for your parcel to be left at your address if the courier is unable to make the delivery, please make a note to that effect at checkout. If you prefer to have your parcel shipped via Australia Post instead of our courier, please make a note to that effect at checkout.

We use courier service to ship most orders. You will receive tracking updates via email when the courier is booked, when the parcel is picked up and when the parcel is delivered to your address. These notifications will include a link to more detailed tracking information. All parcels are marked with an Authority to Leave, unless otherwise advised by you at checkout. Our courier partners' terms and conditions can be found via their websites: FastWay / Couriers Please / Sendle 

If your address is outside our courier's service area, your parcel will be shipped by Australia Post Parcel Post with tracking.

Unfortunately, our courier is unable to deliver to parcel lockers, PO boxes or NZ addresses. In these cases, parcels will be shipped via Australia Post.

All Australian and New Zealand orders over $100 are eligible for free shipping. This will be applied automatically at the checkout.

Please note all shipping costs are final. I am unable to combine shipping on multiple orders.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING

International orders are shipped via Australia Post. Real time shipping quotes are available at checkout. Customers can select from the following levels: Courier, Express, Standard, Economy Air and Economy Sea. Please note, Economy Air and Economy Sea do not include any form of tracking of your parcel.

Please note: You are responsible for any and all customs/brokerage fees that may be incurred. These charges are unique to your country and are out of our control.

MISSING PARCELS & LIABILITY

Sometimes, things do go wrong and parcels do go missing in the post. It happens rarely, but please let us know if you have not received your patterns in a reasonable time frame, and we'll do our best to sort it out for you. It can take up to a month before mail marked return to sender makes it's way back to us, and we're sure you'd rather be sewing in that time!

RETURN POLICY

We are proud to say we have purchased the finest bra-making supplies available for your sewing pleasure. If you should receive the incorrect goods, or goods that are defective in any way, please contact us so we can correct the problem. Contact must be made within 30 days of shipment of the item. We will replace the items, or refund your money once the goods have been returned to us, as required under Australian Consumer law. We regret that there are no returns on cut goods, patterns, or goods that have obviously been used or no longer saleable.

For best results, please follow care instructions in the product listing. We do not accept claims on goods that have not been washed according to care instructions.

SewSquirrel will endeavour to represent all products and information as accurately as possible in the product description (including images) at the time of listing. At times there may be a small variations beyond our control in width and colour due to the manufacturing and dyeing process, or the calibration of your computer monitor. If fabric width and colour is important to you, please contact us regarding a sample or swatch.

Please note: Shipping and handling charges are non-refundable, and customer is responsible for to cost of return shipping with tracking.

All sales are final. Once your order has been processed, there is no refund available for change of mind.
